2027 VA Disability Rates ESTIMATE
These are estimates, not official VA figures. The Social Security Administration announced a 3.6% COLA for 2027 on October 14, 2026. VA had not published its 2027 compensation table when we last checked (October 19, 2026). We will replace these numbers with VA’s official table as soon as it is published.
Estimated 2027 amounts: 10% ≈ $186.92 per month and 100% (veteran alone) ≈ $4,080.37 per month, up from the official 2026 amounts of $180.42 and $3,938.58.
How we estimate 2027 rates
VA.gov states that VA is required by law to match the percentage of Social Security cost-of-living adjustments. We take each official 2026 amount from VA.gov (effective December 1, 2025), multiply it by 3.6% more, and round to the cent. VA applies its own rounding when it publishes the official table, so final amounts may differ slightly.

Frequently asked questions
What is the 2027 VA disability COLA?
The Social Security Administration announced a 3.6% cost-of-living adjustment for 2027 on October 14, 2026. VA.gov says VA is required by law to match the percentage of Social Security cost-of-living adjustments.
When will the new rates take effect?
VA.gov lists its 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 tables as effective December 1 of the year before (the current rates took effect December 1, 2025). Until VA publishes its 2027 table, the figures on this page are estimates.
Are these official 2027 VA rates?
No. They are our estimate: each official 2026 amount multiplied by 1.036 and rounded to the cent. VA’s published amounts may differ by a few cents or dollars because of VA’s own rounding.
